Baby Maverick Lassard

Back in November (21st), the father, Tyler Lassard, age 23, of Chadwick Acres Road, Sneads Ferry, NC was charged by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office with misdemeanor assault on a child under 12, misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and misdemeanor child abuse.

The autopsy of Maverick Lassard, Tyler Lassard & Santana Mosher’s 4-month-old son who was found unresponsive in his crib, has ruled his cause of death to be “uncertain.” Tyler (father) was charged early on in the case.

According to the autopsy report, the father, Tyler Lassard allegedly had a tendency to get angry with Baby Maverick and would “thump him on the face or head.”

Father, Tyler Lassard is accused of “striking the child in the head,” which left the infant “bruised about the forehead and left alone for an extended period of time,” according to arrest warrants.

The autopsy report noted a “small (1.5 cm) contusion of right forehead. No underlying fracture or intracranial hemorrhage,” but the autopsy concluded the cause of death as “undetermined.”

On Aug. 11, Tyler Lassard attempted suicide by overdosing on heroin and survived. That same day he was arrested on charges of possessing heroin, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver heroin, and maintaining a dwelling for heroin from the Sneads Ferry home.

Sources have said, the mother, Santana Mosher has a history of a false reality and has been on the run, attempting to evade charges in the death of her son, soon after his death leaving the state to NY.

She was arrested at the bus station on Onslow Drive the evening of Thursday, February 1, 2018, according to Jacksonville Public Safety Dept., Media Liaison- Beth Purcell. JPD officers executed a warrant written by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office as Mosher returned to Onslow County from New York.

We see that the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is one that you can run, but can’t hide from.
