Hubert man arrested on felony larceny in relation to theft of a computer chip from a vehicle
On April 26, 2019 Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol responded to Percision Motor Sports on Lake Cole Road for a report of larceny.
Investigation revealed that an employee of the business, Tyler Nicolas Amrine, had taken a computer chip from a vehicle that was at the shop and tried to sell it.
Amrine, 35-years-old of Huckleberry Lane, Hubert, was interviewed by detectives and admitted taking the computer chip. Amrine was arrested May 14, 209 and charged with Felony Larceny by Employee and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Property.
Amrine was transported to the Onslow County Detention Center under a $5,000 unsecured bond.
