Spring Lake Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in multiple break ins

(SPRING LAKE, NC)- On Tuesday March 26, 2019 around 10:45pm a single unknown suspect broke into the Sprint Store located at 505 N.C. Hwy 210 in Spring Lake, NC. The suspect is a black male, slender build and did not have his face covered.

On Tuesday April 9, 2019 at approximately 4:00am, two black male suspects broke into the Sprint Store at 505 NC Hwy 210 in Spring Lake. Neither of the suspects had their faces covered and one appears to be the same individual that broke into Sprint on March 26.

Approximately 10 minutes later, at 4:10am, unknown suspects broke into the Verizon Wireless Store located at 104 S Bragg Blvd in Spring Lake. This location is walking distance from Sprint.

SILVER ALERT: 81-year-old woman missing from Spring Lake

The Spring Lake Police Department is attempting to locate an elderly woman, Margarete Schneidereit Scott, 81-years-old.

Scott was last seen by family members leaving her residence in Spring Lake to go to the Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville, NC around 2pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Scott may be suffering from memory loss or some other cognitive impairment. She was driving a white 2007 Toyota Avalon, NC registration HD6067A.
