OCSO asks for public help identifying a woman for questioning for burglary

Onslow County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a female wanted for questioning in a residential burglary in the Rhodestown area.
On March 5, 2019, Onslow County Sheriff’s Office uniformed patrol responded to a residence at the intersection of Rhodestown Road and Hwy 258 for a report of a burglary that occurred in the early morning hours.

After reviewing video surveillance footage, detectives are trying to locate a female who was in the area and may have information about the break-in. The female is described as a light-skinned black female in her late teens to early 20s, with black hair. She was wearing a black hoodie, gray shirt and jeans. She was operating a gray or silver in color Ford Escape with a glass sunroof and luggage racks, unknown license plate.

Felony Vehicle Break-in and Fraud Suspect Sought

 The Jacksonville Police Department is asking for your help to identify the man in the attached photographs.  He is a person of interest in a felony vehicle break-in that occurred at CVS located at 400 Western Blvd on Feb. 13, 2018. The suspect stole the victim’s purse, and then fraudulently used the victim’s credit card throughout the city.  There are six photos.

The male is described as a white male in his 20s, with brown hair and beard. He was wearing black shoes, brown pants, and a black t-shirt with a colorful design on the front at the time of the offenses. He drives a white Saturn Ion with tinted windows (pictured below).

One teen arrested and one WANTED in connection to numerous break ins

One teen has been arrested for breaking into several homes and a second teen is wanted in connection to the break-ins.

On February 6, 2019 Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Uniformed Patrol responded to a residence on Singletree Court for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, the suspects had fled the scene and a witness was able to obtain pictures of the suspect’s vehicle and license plate.

Investigation led to Hector Manuel Montoya and Zaevion Jarek Tull. During the investigation, it was learned that Montoya and Tull broke into two additional residences on Titus Lane and Surrey Drive, all in Jacksonville.

Montoya, 18-years-old of Canady Road in Jacksonville was arrested February 17, 2019 and charged with:

  • (3) Counts Breaking and Entering – Felony
  • (3) Counts Larceny After Breaking and Entering – Felony
  • Safecracking – Felony
  • Obtaining Property by False Pretense – Felony

Montoya was transported to the Onslow County Detention Center under a $41,000 secured bond.

Zaevion Jarek Tull, 18-years-old pictured below, has outstanding warrants for his arrest pertaining to these cases.

HRPD seeks publics help identifying a woman for stolen check and other items

(HRPD) HOLLY RIDGE, NC- On Wednesday, 01/23/2019. At approximately 2:05pm. The white female in the attached photo pulled up to the drive thru at the State Employees’ Credit Union, 135 Davenport Farm Road, Winterville, NC 28590, to cash a check. The female presented a stolen, forged check, stolen SECU Debit Card and a stolen social security card. The stolen check was from a motor vehicle B&E in Holly Ridge NC, that occurred on Wednesday, 01/16/2019, and the stolen bank card and social security card are from a vehicle B&E in Jacksonville NC on Friday, 01/18/2019.

The white female appeared to be in her 40’s and driving a dark in color Dodge SUV. The female drove off from the teller window after she was told to come inside and verify her security questions. The female left behind the stolen check, bank debit card and social security card. This is a joint investigations with multiple agencies. UPDATE: Total of three now charged in break in and theft at a local tobacco shop.

In the early morning hours of January 5, 2019, Onslow County Sheriff’s Office uniformed patrol responded to 2&1 Vape and Cigar Tobacco Shop located at 5137 Richlands Highway for a business alarm call. Deputies discovered that the store had been broken into and a number of items were stolen.

Upon further investigation, detectives were able to identify a suspect through evidence that was left at the scene.

Marc Steven Atteridge, 56-years-old of Huffmantown Road, Richlands was arrested January 15, 2019 for the break-in. Atteridge was taken before the magistrate where he was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Safecracking and Felony Conspiracy.

On January 18, 2019, Atteridge’s co-conspirator, Monica Ann Atteridge turned herself in. Monica, 51-years-old of Huffmantown Road in Richlands was taken before the magistrate and charged with:

  • Felony Conspiracy

She was transported to Onslow County Detention Center and given a $15,000 unsecured bond.

On January 21, 2019, the third, and final suspect was located and arrested. Richard Eric Alander Jr. was arrested. Alander, 50-years-old of Holly Shelter Road in Jacksonville was taken before a magistrate and charged with:

  • Felony Breaking and Entering
  • Felony Safecracking
  • Felony Conspiracy

Alander was transported to the Onslow County Detention Center where he is under an $8,000 secured bond, awaiting his first court appearance.

On the morning of December 8th, a light-colored GM truck was involved with the theft of a 16’ Sumter trailer loaded with building supplies from a residence parked on Ivybridge Drive in Hubert.
